On November 7, 2024, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced that Triphenyl phosphate (TPP has been officially added to the list of candidate substances of very high concern (SVHC). This brings the total number of candidate SVHCs to 24. To date, the list of SVHCs includes: 242 confirmed substances, 1 pending substance (resorcinol), 6 substances review, and 7 substances of intent.
