GB 17625.1-2022“Electromagnetic compatibility limits-part 1: harmonic current emission limits (input current per phase of equipment ≤16A)”(hereinafter referred to as“The new edition of the standard”) , which provides the basis for compulsory product certification for electronic products and safety accessories (08/09) , lighting appliances (1001/1002) , household and similar equipment (07) , released on December 29,2022, it will 2024 and replace GB 17625.1-2012 from July 1.

In order to ensure the effective implementation of the compulsory product certification system, china quality certification center (CQC-RRB- according to the technical resolutionTC10TC10 technical expert group on the implementationGBf GB 17625.1-2022 standard revision certification (ANNEXnnex) , the relevant requirements for the implementation of the new version of the standards are as follows:

1.From the date of this notice until 30 June of this 2024, enterprises may voluntarily choose to implement certification in accordance with the new version or the old version of the standard. As of July 1, the 2024 should adopt the new version of the standard to implement certification and issue a new version of the standard certification certificate, no longer issue the old version of the standard certification certificate.

2.For products that have been certified according to the old version of the standard, the holder of the certificate of certification of the old version of the standard should submit an application for conversion to the new version of the standard in a timely manner, after the date of implementation of the standard and before the end of the first follow-up inspection, according to TC10 relevant resolutions to complete the new version of the standard product confirmation and certificate renewal. All the old standard certificate conversion should be completed by June 30,2025 at the latest; overdue, CQC will suspend the old standard certificate; On September 30,2025, CQC will revoke the old standard certificate if the certificate has not been converted.

3.No certificate conversion is required for licensed products that have been 2024, put on the market and are no longer produced before July 1.

4.In this circular, the requirements for the implementation of the new edition of the compulsory product certification for electronic products and safety accessories (08/09) , lighting appliances (1001/1002) , household and similar equipment (07) , the relevant products shall not be exempted from the responsibility of complying with the relevant provisions of the standardization law of the People's Republic of China and the product quality law of the People's Republic of China.
