      The Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA) serves as the core legislation governing consumer product safety in the Canadian market. For toy products, the Canadian government has formulated the dedicated Toys Regulations (SOR/2011-17), which set strict mandatory requirements on mechanical and physical properties, flammability, chemical properties, electrical performance and labelling specifications for toys.

Scope of Application
